Tenney Thermal Shock Chambers
These Thermal Shock Chambers were designed primarily to meet the requirements of MIL-STD 883, Method 1010 temperature cycling and MIL-STD 202, Method 107 thermal shock testing. These environmental chambers test the resistance of electronic components and assemblies to sudden and severe temperature changes.
Thermal shock chambers are offered in two configurations:
- Two-Zone Operation
- Dual Load Operation
Two-Zone Thermal Shock Chambers
The product is transferred by a basket transport system between hot and cold chambers.
Dual Load Thermal Shock Chambers
The product is transferred horizontally between hot and cold chambers in a two-basket transfer carriage. The system uses three chambers, one hot chamber at each end with a cold chamber in the center. This configuration allows uninterupted operation of the cold zone, doubles product load handling capability for high production applications and increases operating efficiency and decreases operating costs.
