Curing Graphics on Metal Fast

Custom Industrial Conveyor Ovens

Curing Graphics on Metal Fast

A major manufacturer of soda cans needed an oven that would cure graphics on metal fast. Thermal Product Solutions (TPS) designed a conveyor oven with a maximum temperature rating of 450° F, a vertical down Air Circulation System, and  a 10.6 cubic foot workspace capacity. The conveyor consists of flat aluminum plates that are attached to conveyor chains and ride atop a vacuum manifold. Each plate employs a central hole leading into the vacuum manifold, which provides suction to hold an aluminum container on the plate. Containers are transported through a 72” long heating module for conditioning and then through a cooling zone cooled using ambient air. Once they exit the cooling zone they are automatically unloaded by a pneumatic can pusher onto an unload accumulation table.
